STERLING SMITH JR.
1946-2001
Sterling Smith Jr., 55, of Ivel, died Saturday May 5 2001 from injuries
suffered in an automobile accident.
Mr. Smith was born Oct. 8, 1946, in Pikeville, a son of Ellen Morley Smith
of Harold and the late Sterling Smith.
He was an employee of Pepsi Cola and a member of International Church of
God.
Additional survivors include his wife, Juanita ``Tootsie" Martin Smith;
three sons, Sterling Jordan Smith of Ivel, Jonah Duane Smith of Varney and
William Derrick ``D.D." Smith of Millard; three sisters, Nell Mae Mills of
Michigan, Flora Abshire of Lock Creek and Lucille Marssee of Michigan; and
two grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home in Martin by
George Trent.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
