THOMAS SMITH
1934-1986
Thomas Smith, 52, died January 26 in Paul B. Hall Medical Center. Mr. Smith
was born July 6, 1934 in Pike County, the son of Lola Bastic Smith and the
late Thomas Smith.
He was a resident of Paintsville, a mechanic, a member of the Freewill
Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel.
Surviving are his mother, a son, James Thomas Smith of Texas; three sisters,
Debbie Stepp of Hager Hill, Sandra Plymale of Pike County and Cheryl Smith
of Paintsville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30 at 1 p.m. in Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Dick VanHoose officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
