Kenneth Sparks, 80, of Red Bush, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003 at
Highland Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born Aug. 29, 1923, in Keaton, he was a son of the late Jess and
Ethel Kelly Sparks.
He was a pipe fitter and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Frances Sparks.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Smith Sparks of Red Bush; a son,
Larry K. Sparks of New Baltimore, Mich.; three grandchildren; and a
great grandchild. Flat Gap Masonic Lodge 616 F & AM conducted a
masonic service Wednesday, Oct 22, at Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel.
Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 23, at Red Bush Enterprise
Baptist Church with Revs. Gerald Fyffe and Harold Salyers, and
Elder Paul E. Keaton officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
