Michael R. Sparks, 47, of San Francisco, Calif., died Jan. 14 2001
in St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco.
Mr. Sparks was born Aug. 8, 1954, in Johnson County, a son of
Russell and Margie Persinger Sparks of Flat Gap.
He was a medical clerk at St. Mary's Hospital.
Additional survivors include a brother, Danny Sparks of Hager Hill.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Preston Funeral Home
in Paintsville by Ferry Reffett.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
