JERRY SPEARS
1894-1985
Jerry Spears, 91, of Windham, OH, and formerly of Johnson County, died May
22.
Born in Johnson County, May 9, 1894, the son of the late Henry and Martha
Moles Spears, he was a retired carpenter from West Van Lear.
Survivors include a wife, Della Rivers Spears, and two sons, Earl Spears of
Ironton, OH, and Richard Spears of Windham, OH. also surviving are four
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services wereheld at 1
p.m. Sunday, May 26, at the Riceville Freewill Baptist Church with Scott
Castle, Herb Arms, Donald Caudill and Powell Collins officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
Funeral arrangements were conducted by Jones-Preston Funeral Home in
Paintsville.
