NOLA SPEARS
1917-1998
Nola Spears, 81, of Paintsville, died Tuesday, March 31, 1998, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 4, 1917, in Johnson County, the daughter of
Edward Moore and Lona Brown Moore.
She was a retired factory worker and a precision metalsmith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Shirley
Woodrow Spears, who died in 1966.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Spears of Paintsville and one
sister, Ethel Campbell of North Madison, Ohio; eight grandchildren;
and four greatgrandchildren.
Services were April 2, at Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel with
Harry Neil Frisby and Lowell Webb officiating.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in
Staffordsville.
