Nancy Carol Spriggs, 65, of Staffordsville, died Tuesday, June 11, at
Paul B. Hall Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born July 8, 1947, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of Edith
Potter Cantrell.
She was preceded in death by foster parents, Henry and Sarah Jenkins
Spriggs; and two brothers, Shannon Spriggs and Robert Potter.
Additional survivors include a son, Dean Wayne Wright of Pineknot; two
daughters, Joyce Cantrell of Paintsville and Beulah Dillon of High
Point, N.C.; a brother, George Spriggs of Flat Gap; five
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, June 14, at Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel, with Delbert Music and Roger Hill officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville.
