Charles M. Stafford, 78, of Wilmington, Ohio, died Sunday, May 1
2005.
Born Dec. 22, 1926, at Oil Springs, he was a son of the late Charles
and Edith Connelley Stafford.
He was a retired principal of Clinton Massie High School, a member of
the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington and a U.S. Army WW II veteran.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Avinell West Stafford.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Bass of Yardley, Penn., and
Julie Brubaker of New Albany, Ohio; a sister, Mary Radcliffe of
Paintsville; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, May 4, at the Presbyterian Church of
Wilmington with Rev. David F. Judd officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Paintsville, under
direction of Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, Wilmington.
