Quinnie Cool Stalker, 89, of Salyersville, died Saturday, May 1, at
Paul B. Hall Medical Center, Paintsville.

Born Aug. 11, 1914, in Pike County, she was a daughter of the late
Daniel and Melvina Cool.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Walter Stalker; and a son, Billy Abshire.

Survivors include two sons, Walter G. Stalker of Falcon, and Rodney
Dean Stalker of Meally; five daughters, Fern Hopkins of Akron,
Ohio, Geneva Stacy of New Boston, Ohio, Sharon Blanton of Sitka,
and Wanda Minix and Mary Rodgers, both of Salyersville; a sister,
Madaline Thompson of Morehead; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, May 3, at Magoffin County Funeral
Home Chapel, Salyersville, with Carl Mullins officiating.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Magoffin County Funeral Home.
