CLYDE STAMBAUGH
1926-1997

Retired road foreman Clyde Stambaugh, 71, died Tuesday, October 7,
1997 at Highlands Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Stambaugh was born April 5, 1926, in Johnson County, too Murrah
Preston Stambaugh and the late Albert Stambaugh.

Surviving are his mother; his wife, Deloris VanHoose Stambaugh;
four sons, Clyde Thomas Stambaugh of Murray, James Albert Stambaugh
of Lexington, Charles Donald Stambaugh of Paris and Joseph Sean
Stambaugh of Stambaugh; two daughters, Dianna Lynch of Flatwoods
and Shelby Coleman of Stambaugh; two sisters, Betty Williams of Van
Lear and Sybil Henderson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and 10
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 10, at Sitka Freewill
Baptist Church, with Jimmy McKenzie, Charles Stapleton and Bob
Lyons officiating.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsiville, with
Jones- Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
