EDITH STAMBAUGH
1917-2003
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 9, 1:00 p.m. at Baker
Branch FWB Church for Edith Stambaugh, 86, who passed away
Thursday, March 6 2003 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center.
Mrs. Stambaugh was born January 8, 1917 in Johnson County,
daughter of the late Bruce and Ruth Castle Litteral.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stambaugh.
Surviving are two sons, Willard and Johnny Stambaugh, both of
Sunbury, OH; one daughter, Ruth Hayslett of Sitka; one brother,
Gene Castle of Paintsville; 13 grand children, 2 step-
grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 6 great-great
grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Gary Lafferty, Orville Legg and
Harold Williams, with burial following in Highland Memorial Park in
Staffordsville.
Arrangements under the direction of Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
