ELIZABETH STAMBAUGH
1916-1974
Elizabeth Stambaugh, a Paintsville resident and member of the First
Christian Church succumbed to an extended illness at a local hospital on
Wednesday, December 19.
Born October 20, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Janie
Lafferty Grey.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Stambaugh; 3 sisters, Josephine
Frazier of Allen, Alice Lafferty of Slone and Martha Bradley of Auburn, IN;
2 brothers, George Grey of Water Gap and Jackie Grey of Walbridge, OH.
Services were held Saturday, December 22 in the Chapel of the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Johnson officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with arrangements
under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
