GERALD LESLIE STAMBAUGH
1941-2003
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 19, 1 p.m. at
Praise Assembly of God at Watergap, Ky. for Gerald Leslie
Stambaugh, 62, who passed away Tuesday, September 16 at Wellmont-
Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn.
Mr. Stambaugh was born March 12, 1941 in Johnson County, Ky., son
of the late William Howard Taft and Agnes Marie Preston Stambaugh.
He was a heavy equipment operator.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda L. Conley Stambaugh; one daughter,
Leslie Renee Stambaugh-Knestrick of Key Largo, Fla.; four brothers,
George Langley Stambaugh of East Point, Ky., William Roger
Stambaugh of Valparso, Ind., Arthur Clayton Stambaugh of Lexington,
Ky. and David Morgan Stambaugh of Richmond, Ky.; three sisters,
Willa Marie Kuhns of Athens, Tenn., Jane Horne of Ashland, Ky. and
Sara Lynn Conley of Wilmington, Ohio; 5 step-grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by the Rev. J. M. Sloce, with burial
following in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Ky.
