Lowell Garfield Stambaugh, 78, of Paintsville, died Saturday, Dec.
15, in Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.
  
Mr. Stambaugh was born Aug. 11, 1923, in Johnson County.

 He was the husband of Ruth Wallen Stambaugh.
    
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. today at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in Paintsville.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville
