ONDA STAMBAUGH
1944-1959
Onda Stambaugh, 15-year-old freshman at Meade Memorial High
School, died in a local hospital at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, May 3, of
leukemia, following a four months illness.
The son of Frank and Dorothy Murphy Stambaugh, he was born at
Meally, May 3,1944, and lived in that community all of his life.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving besides his parents are his brother, Frank Roger
Stambaugh, Meally, and his grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Everett
Murphy. Funeral services were conducted today at 10:00 a.m., from
the Meally church of Christ with J.H. short as officiating
minister.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Meally.
Note: This cemetery is also known as Childers Cemetery, but he was
later moved to Highland Memorial Park.
