PEGGY J. STAMBAUGH
1926-1999
Former Johnson County resident Peggy J. Stambaugh, 72, of Medway,
Ohio, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999 at Franciscian Medical Center.
Mrs. Stambaugh was born September 8,1926, in Johnson County, to the
late Hubert and Ethel Brown Stambaugh.
She was a retired registered nurse, member of the Order of Eastern
Star, Southern Hill Church of Christ and Vandalia Senior Citizens.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
Surviving are two brothers, James Stambaugh of Mountain View,
Arkansas, and Robert Stambaugh of Dayton, Ohio; and two sisters, Irma
Campbell of Medway and Patricia Shropshire of Hillsboro.
Services were held Friday, June 25, at Burcham Funeral Home of
Fairborn, Ohio, with Dr. Fred Klatka and Rev:,Steve White
officiating.
Locally, visitation was held Saturday, June 26, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
