ROBERT WAYNE STAMBAUGH
1967-2005
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 11, 2 p.m. at the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Robert Wayne “Robbie” Stambaugh,
38, of Paintsville, Ky., who passed away Thursday, Dec. 8 2005
at his residence.
Mr. Stambaugh was born September 26, 1967 in Johnson County, Ky.,
son of Lawrence Hershell Stambaugh and Peggy Jo Blevins Jones.
He was an equipment operator.
He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Thompson
Blevins, and his grandfather, Herbert Stambaugh.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Russell
Stambaugh of Paintsville and Bryan Stambaugh of East Point, Ky.;
one half-brother, Larry Stambaugh of Staffordsville, Ky.; one
sister, Melisa Jo Slone of Paintsville; one half-sister, Linda
Francis of East Point; his grandfather, Wayne C. Blevins; his
grandmother, Sophia Daniels Stambaugh; an aunt, Katrinka Collins;
an uncle, Jan Blevins; two nieces and one nephew; and other aunts
and uncles.
The service was officiated by James Kelly Caudill, with burial in
the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Ky.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home
of Paintsville.
