CARRIE STAMPER
1905-2000
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 17, for Paintsville
resident Carrie Stamper, 95, who died September 15 at Mountain Manor
Nursing Home.
Ms. Stamper was born April 15, 1905, in Johnson County, to the late
Henry and Margaret Rigsby Frazier.
Survivors include four sons, Lloyd Stamper of Delaware, Ohio, Joe
Stamper of Bristol, Oklahoma, James Stamper of Leander, and Charles
Stamper of Paintsville; two daughters, Thelma Preston of West Van
Lear, and Marie Conley of Waverly, Ohio; 25 grandchildren, 35 great-
grandchildren and 15 great-great- grandchildren.
Officiating at services held at Preston Funeral Home Chapel was Terry
Conley.
Burial followed in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
