DOROTHY MAE STAPLETON
1914-1999
Dorothy Mae Webb Stapleton, 85, died Thursday, September 30, 1999 at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville.
Mrs. Stapleton. was born March 24, I914; to the late Wider Webb and
Tuna Salvers Webb, she was a retired cook for an Ohio School system.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lunda S. Stapleton.
Survivors include one son, Robert L. Stapleton of Enon, Ohio; two
daughters, Evelene McCarthy of Oil Springs and Nae E. Marsh, of
Ashland; three brothers, Lindsey Webb of Ashland, George Webb of Oil
Springs, and Arrowood Webb of Wooster, Ohio; two sisters, Joy Baldwin
of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Gladys Gullett of Clarksville, Tennessee; 12
grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren and 8 great-great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 3, at the Jones Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with Sammie Reed, Ray McCarty, Danny Williams,
Frankie Williams, and Jim Daniels officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
