Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 30, for Douglas Stapleton,
70.
Mr. Stapleton was born April 16, 1918 in Johnson County, the son of G. F.
Stapleton and Clara Hill Stapleton. He was a self-employed farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Juanita Yates Stapleton; five daughters, Dona Sharon
Collins, of Paintsville, Debbie Layne of Prestonsburg, Tama Ramey of East
Point, Teresa O'Bryan of Fuget, and Joan Scott of Hager Hill; 8
grandchildren.
Officiating at funeral services in Jones-Preston Funeral home Chapel was
Paul E. Keaton.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
