LUNDA STAPLETON
1907-1977
Lunda Stapleton, 89, died Saturday, December 25, 1977 at his Enon,
Ohio residence following an illness of several years.
Mr. Stapleton was born April 4, 1907, Fuget, the son of Green F. and
Nancy McKenzie Stapleton.
He had been a resident of Enon for 14 years, was a retired employee
of Kelsey- Hayes and a member of the United Baptist Church at Low
Gap.
Surviving are his wife, Dortha Webb Stapleton; a son, Robert L.
Stapleton of Enon; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Evlene) McCarty of Oil
Springs and Mrs, James (Nae) Marsh of Ashland; a half-brother, Doug
of Flat Gap; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 28, in the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Tommy Bailey and Troy Salyers
officiating.
Burial was In the Highland Memorial Gardens at Staffordsville with
Jones-Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements.
