GEORGIA STEENBURGH
1917-1993
Georgia Spears Steenburgh, 76, died Sunday, June 27 at her home in West Van
Lear.
Mrs. Steenburgh was born March 29, 1917 in Johnson County and was a retired
seamstress clerk. She was preceded in death by her husband, George
Steenburgh, in 1962.
Surviving are one son, Charles Steenburgh, of East Point; two daughters,
Lavone Kieger of West Van Lear and Karen Fitch of Springfield, OH; eight
grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by three
sisters, Janet Webb of Grayson, Eula Collins of Van Lear and Hazel Goble of
Prestonsburg.
Services will be held July1 at 11 a.m. at the Highland Church of Christ in
Paintsville. Officiating will be Jerry Scott.
Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.
