NANCY STEWART
1903-2000
Aug.09 2000 Funeral services were held Sunday, August 6, 2000 for
Nancy Stewart, 96, of Paintsville, who died August 4, at Woodland
Oaks Healthcare Facility.
Mrs. Stewart was born November 7, 1903, in Johnson County, to the
late Ben and Sarah Sammons Delong.
She was retired from Union News of Ashland.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sturgill Stewart, in
1950.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Glen Arlo Stewart, both of
Ashland; one daughter, Ernestine McDade of Franklin, Ohio; one
brother, Bill Delong of Van Lear; one sister, Audrey Deerfield of
Cleveland, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren
and one great- great-grandchild.
Officiating at services at Paintsville Church of Christ was Steve
Miller.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with Jones-
Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
