Masonic Rites Held For Dallas Sublett Dallas Sublett, Sitka, 62,
died at a local hospital Saturday, March 14, 1953, following an
illness of two weeks.

Born December 11, 1870, he was the son of James and Charlotte
Stambaugh Sublett.

A member of the Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge, he was a
farmer, lumberman, and merchant by occupation.

Surviving are his wife, Janie Osborn Sublett, four sons, Walter and
James T. Sublett, both of Sitka, Hobert Sublett, Lima Ohio, A/1C
Wilbur A. Sublett; George Air Force Base, Victorville, Calif.; four
daughters, Mrs. Leliah Wheeler, Mrs. Dorothy Wyatt and Mrs Billie
Eileen Meade, all of Sitka, and Mrs. Neva Louise Rothwell, Ashland.
one brother , John C. Sublett, Chesapeake, Ohio, one sister, Mrs.
Minnie Fields, Sitka, Ky.,

Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ at Sitka, at 10:30
a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Spurgeon Honeycutt, officiating. Graveside
rites were conducted by F. & A. M. Lodge No. 858.

Interment was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Preston Funeral Home.
