JAMES SUBLETT

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 22, 11 a.m. at the Preston
Funeral Home Chapel for James “Pawnee” Sublett, 80, of Sitka, Ky.,
who passed away Thursday, May 19 2005 at the Mountain Manor Nursing
Home of Paintsville, Ky.
Mr. Sublett was born November 21, 1924 in Johnson County, Ky., son of
the late Dallas and Jane Osborne Sublett.
He was a self-employed salesman.
Surviving are his wife, Wanetta Horne Sublett of Sitka, Ky.; four
sons, Robert Neal Sublett of Ashland, Ky., Calvin Keith Sublett of
Pikeville, Ky., Paul Douglas Sublett of Sitka, Ky., and Michael
Dwayne Sublett of Flat Gap, Ky.; three sisters, Judith Gail Holbrook
of Paintsville, Ky., Joan Sublett of Tuttle, Okla., and Penny
Burchett of Sitka, Ky.; two siblings, Billie Meade of Paintsville,
Ky., and Dora Rothwell of Ashland, Ky.; and 14 grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Ky.
Arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville, Ky.
