THURMAN K. ADAMS 1904-1989 Thurman Adams, 85, of Redbush, died Wednesday in the Paul B Hall Medical Center at Paintsville. Mr. Adams was born February 16, 1904, in Johnson County, a son of the late John and Rachel Anna Gilliam Adams. He was a member of the United Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Esther Rigsby Adams; two daughters; Rosie Berriman of Maysville and Phyllis Sebastin of Paris; five sons, Lee Adams of Fuget, Earl Adams and Johnny Adams, both of Redbush, and Eulas Adams of Swamp Branch; a sister, Clova Fairchild of Thurman, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at the Cold Springs United Baptist Church by Elder J.T. Bailey, Elder Eual McKenzie and Elder Scottie Williams. Burial will be in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville. Friends may call at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
