HELEN ARMS
1936-1992
Retired insurance clerk, Helen Irene Arms, 56, died Friday, April 3 in
Highlands Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Arms was born February 6, 1936 in Johnson County, the daughter of
Estill and Julie Blevins Blair. She was retired from Island Creek Coal
Company and was a member of the Hager Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Tony L. Arms; two daughters, Teresa Trimble of
Paintsville and Toni Jean Arms of Auxier; two brothers, Jim Blair of Hager
Hill and Carl Blair of Clarksville, TN and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 5 in Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with Lowell Pelphrey and Chuck Slone officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
