East Point resident Alma Baker, 63, died Thursday, March 7 in
Prestonsburg Hospital after an illness of several months.
 
Born at Riceville on March 25, 1904, she was the daughter of Dan and
Minnie Ramey Litteral and was a member of the Enterprise Baptist
church.
 
Survivors include her husband, Sam Baker; one son, James Collins of
Florence; four step sons, P. L. and Ralph Baker of Dayton, OH,
William Baker of Michigan and Jessie Baker of East Point, one
daughter, Joy Baker of East Point and three step daughters, Edith
Estep of Dayton, OH, Emma Douglas of Paris Crossing, IN, and Mary
Helton of Staffordsville; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Additional survivors include two brothers, Judge and Crate Litteral
of Ashland and one sister, Mrs. Frank Perkins of Ashland.
 
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 9 in the Vine Street
Enterprise Baptist Church at Paintsville with John Frank Ratliff
officiating.
 
Burial was held at Staffordsville under the direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
