JOHNNIE BARKER
1903-1986

Lowmansville resident Johnnie Barker, 83, died December 6 in Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 21, 1903 in Johnson County, the son of Willie and
Missouri Allison Barker. He was a retired farmer and a member of Fish Trap
United Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Lizzie Lemaster Barker; three sons, Dan Barker of
Fuget, Robert Barker of Lowmansville, and Kendrick Barker of Jackson, OH;
two daughters, Ada Cantrell of Fuget, and Brenda Banks of Lowmansville; two
sisters, Rilda Tackett of Paintsville and Lexie Rose of Urbana, OH; 11
grandchildren ,18 great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and seven
step great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 9, in Fish Trap United Baptist
church with Elders Lonza Reed, Wayne Blair, and Jerry Colvin officiating.

Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville with Jones-
Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
