EARL BELLAR

Gas and oil Driller, Earl Bellar, 68, died Saturday, May 2 in U. K. Medical
Center, Lexington.
Mr. Bellar was born February 11, 1924 in Portsmouth, OH, the son of Nelson
and Ruth Days Bellar.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Salyer Bellar; three sons, Kenny Bellar of
Staffordsville, Earl Leon Bellar of Oil Springs, and Ronald Dean Bellar of
Columbus, OH; one brother, Nelson Bellar of Portsmouth; three sisters,
Juanita Spence of Ray, OH, Virginia Stephenson of Portsmouth, OH, and
Kathryn Lauderback of Minford, OH; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 5 in Barnetts Creek United Baptist
Church with John Red Pelphrey officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial at Staffordsville with Preston Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
