COONIE BLAIR

Retired miner, Coonie Blair, 87, died Tuesday, January 24,1998
in Corinthian Nursing Home, Kenton, Ohio. 
  
Mr. Blair was born July 27, 1901 in Johnson County, the son of
William and Sarah Blair. 
  
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Rice Blair, in
December 1987. 
  
Surviving are one son, Robert Blair of Cynthiana; one daughter,
Fern Blair Ward, of Dola, Ohio; and seven grandchildren and
14 great-grandchildren. 
  
Funeral services were held Friday January 27, in Beechwall United
Baptist Church, Leander, with Elders James H.Blair, Rutherford
Blair and Jerry Colvin officiating. 
  
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville,
with Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
