GORDON RILEIGH BLAIR
1909-1986
Gordon Rileigh Blair, 77, died Wednesday, August 6, at his Jenkins home.
Mr. Blair was born April 6, 1909, at West Van Lear, the son of Sherman and
Missouri Jane Webb Blair. He was a retired coal miner for Appalachian Coal
and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys Watkins Blair; a son, Kenneth Gordon Blair,
of Jenkins; a daughter, Tommie Jean Robinson, of Robinson Creek; a brother,
Francis Blair of Dayton, OH; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services held Saturday, August 9, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Don Fraley officiating.
Burial was in Blair Family Cemetery in West Van Lear.
