Mrs. Malinda Blair, 77 years of age, died at Van Lear Monday evening.
The aged woman had been ill for two weeks following a stroke.

She is survived by four children.

Funeral services were held from the home Wednesday afternoon, 2
o'clock, Rev. S.C. Honeycutt and Rev. Herschell Short, conducting the
services.

Interment was made in the West Van Lear cemetery.

OBITUARY

DEATH TAKES AGED HAGER HILL WOMAN

Mrs. Malinda Catherine Blair, well known woman of Hager Hill, Ky.
died there at the home of her son, Lincoln Blair, at 3:00 p.m. Monday
afternoon.

She was 70 years of age, having been born July 30, 1864.

Mrs. Blair had many friends and was a devout member of the Missionary
Baptist Church.

The aged woman is survived by four sons, Alonzo Blair, West Van Lear;
Lincoln Blair, Hager Hill; Dee Blair, Collista; and Eskell Blair,
Galveston, Texas. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9
great-grandchildren, in addition to numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Blair
Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Herschell Short officiating.

Interment in the West Van Lear Cemetery. Undertaker J. A. Jones
directing.
