Raymond H. Blair, 52, died January 18, 1986 in Lexington Veterans
Hospital following an extended illness
  
Mr. Blair was born August 11, 1933, at Oil Springs, the son of
Clara Blair Pennington of Falcon and the late James Thomas Blair.
  
Surviving are his mother; his stepfather, Arthur Pennington; six
step brothers, Paul Pennington of Salyersville, Jack and Keith
Pennington of Oil Springs, Douglas Pennington of Springfield,
Ohio, Joe Pennington of Dayton, Ohio, and Tommy Pennington of
Wittensville; four step-sisters, Billie Howard of Dayton, Betty
Lemaster of Cambridge, Ohio, Sue Conley of Springfield, Ohio, and
Mary Tackett of Xenia, Ohio; three sisters, Kay Shultz of Xenia,
Faye Risner and Janet Stapleton, both of Dayton.
  
Funeral services were held January 21 in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Melvin Blanton and Elder J. D. Rice officiating.
  
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
