WILLIAM O. BLAIR
1896-1962

Rev. William O. Blair, 65, a retired C. & O. employee, died at his
home at Collista at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 1962 after an
extended illness.

The son of the late Dan and Lena Estep Blair, he was born in this
county March 3, 1896, and had lived in Johnson County all of his
life. He was a minister of the Freewill Baptist Church and a member
of Van Lear Lodge 885 F. & A. M.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Adeline Conley Blair; a son, Eugene
Blair of this city: two daughters, Mrs. Loretta Wells and Mrs. Donna
Jean Campbell, Columbus, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday from the Third
S--- Freewill Baptist Church with Charlie Lemaster, Walter Hooper and
Scott Castle as officiating ministers. Graveside rites were conducted
by members of the Masonic Lodge.

Burial was in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear.
