Jeanette Blanton, 76, of Oil Springs, died Thursday, Dec. 15, at Mountain
Manor Nursing Home.

Born March 7, 1935, in Magoffin County, she was the daughter of the late
Allen and Tava Jackson. She was a homemaker.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Blanton; and a daughter,
Diana Cheryl Crum.

Survivors include two sons, Carl Roger Blanton of Tutor Key and Jeffery A.
Blanton of Oil Springs; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 17, at Light of Christ Church, with
Terry Lykins officiating. Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery,
Staffordsville, under direction of Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville.
