Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Rudolph
Blanton, 54.
Mr. Blanton was born August 17, 1935 in Johnson County, the son of
Mitchell and Jeanette Halbert Blanton. He was a veteran of the U.S.
Army and was employed by AT&T Telephone Company in Columbus, Ohio.
Surviving are his wife, Garnet Lemaster Blanton; two sons, Marty
Blanton and Tim Blanton, both of Powell, Ohio; one sister, Janice
Reed, of Hamler, Ohio; and one grandson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 30, in Fishtrap United
Baptist Church, with Revs. Edgar "Dick" VanHoose and M. T. Womack
Jr. officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial at Staffordsville.
