ETHEL BLEVINS
1913-1994
Funeral services were held Monday, June 6, for Ethel VanHoose Blevins, 81,
who died Saturday, June 4 at U. K. Medical Center, Lexington.
Mrs. Blevins was born Febr 20, 1913, in Johnson County, the daughter of the
late Floyd and Dovie Spradlin. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Vencil VanHoose and John “Soap”
Blevins.
Surviving are one son, Lemuel VanHoose of Hager Hill; and one granddaughter
and four great grandchildren. Officiating at services at Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel was Rev. Jerry Castle.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
