JOHN BLEVINS
1917-1989
Funeral services were held Monday, February 13, for John (Soap) Blevins,
Jr., 71.
Mr. Blevins was born February 16, 1917 in Johnson County, the son of Everett
and Dessie Adams Blevins. He was retired from Adams Construction and was a
member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel Spradlin Blevins; one stepson, Lemuel VanHoose
of Paintsville; and one half sister, Bethel Mae Blevins.
Officiating at services in Preston Funeral Home Chapel was Lowell Pelphrey.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
