STEVE BRANHAM
1901-1978
 
Rev. Steve Branham, 76, died Friday, April 7 at Highland Regional
Medical Center.
 
Rev. Branham was born August 15, 1901 in Johnson County, the son of
Turner and Martha Engle Branham. He was a resident of Sitka, a
retired coal miner, and an ordained minister since 1969. Rev. Branham
was pastor of the Collista Freewill Baptist Church for four years.
 
Surviving are his wife, Zona Turner Branham, who he married September
22, 1922 in Johnson County, a son, Beauford Branham, Springfield, OH,
three daughters, Kathleen Ealey, Pompano Beach, FL, Margaret
Williams, Gloucester, VA, and Doris Daniel, Laurel, Miss., a brother,
Frank Branham, Sitka, three sisters, Virgie McCormick, Pedro, OH,
June Mollette, Williamsport, and Nancy Caudill, Plain City, OH; 14
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held Monday, April 10 in the Sitka Freewill
Baptist Church with Reverends Richard Williams, Herb Arms, and Mark
Daniel officiating.
 
Burial was in the Turner Family Cemetery at Sitka with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
 
Serving as pallbearers were Paul David Daniel, Mark Daniel, Timothy
Daniel, J. C. Ealey, Darrell Ealey, and Don Branham.
