FRONA BROWN

Mrs. Frona Brown, 80, died of pneumonia at 11:50 A. M., July 14,
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Webb, in West Van Lear,
after a four weeks illness.
  
Mrs. Brown was born December 27, 1868, the daughter of Dow and
Susan George Clark. She was the wife of Joseph brown, who preceded
her in death in 1941.  She was a member of the Methodist Church.
   
She is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. Alice Webb,
West Van Lear, and Mrs. Trixie Nickells, Thomas, Ky., and Mrs.
Louise Hatfield, Lancer, Ky. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren
and 1 great grandchild.
  
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P. M. on Saturday, July 16, at
the Christian Church in West Van Lear by the Rev. S. C. Honeycutt.
  
Interment was in the Cumbo Cemetery in West an Lear under the
direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
