John Burke

John Keith Burke, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Burke was born October
28, 1946, at Hardy, Ky., in Pike county; He was the first born of
three children in the family.

John Keith has always been an invalid having suffered from an
affliction since birth. In spite of this handicap of ill health,
the little lad developed a keen mind, being able to commit many
things to memory.

He also seemed to be endowed with a musical talent far beyond his
years.

He always desired to hear the Paintsville Quartet, and loved
music, especially of a religious nature.

John Keith passed from life into death on March 20, 1952 at 1;00
p.m. at the Paintsville Hospital.

Surviving are his parents and two sisters, Anita Gail and Donna
Lou.
