CHARLES WILBUR CANTRELL
1926-1970
Flat Fork farmer Charles Wilbur Cantrell, 43, died Wednesday, May 27
at his home after an extended illness.
Born in Morgan County on July 27, 1926, he was the son of James and
Sara Fyffe Cantrell, who survive.
Additional survivors include his wife, the former Eula Williams; two
daughters, Shirley Lynn and Bonnie Marie Cantrell at home; a brother,
Proctor Cantrell of Flat Fork; and three sisters, Ruby Lemaster of
New Carlisle, Ohio, Marie Cantrell of Miamisburg, Ohio and Ruth
Blanton of Springfield, Ohio.
Lon Wright and Jessie Smith officiated at the funeral services in the
Pendleton Church Ophier on Friday, May 29.
Burial followed in the family cemetery at Flat Fork. The Jones-
Preston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
