MANDA CANTRELL

Manda Cantrell, 84, of Oil Springs died Saturday Oct,27 2001 at her
home.
  
Mrs. Cantrell was born Oct. 20, 1917, in Johnson County, a daughter
of the late Claudie and Flossie Reed Blanton.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burns Cantrell.
   
Surviving are two sons, Dean Cantrell of Springfield, Ohio, and Ford
Cantrell of Oil Springs; a daughter, Mary Ann Flaker of Oil Springs;
a sister, Neva Bayes of Flatgap; three brothers, Bill Blanton of Oil
Springs and Bob Blanton and Bert Blanton, both of Paintsville; 10
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
  
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pigeon Enterprise
Baptist Church by Rev. Ellis Hamilton. Burial will be in Cantrell
Cemetery at Oil Springs.
  
Friends may call at the church after 3 p.m. Sunday and until the
time of the service Tuesday.
  
Paintsville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
