VONDA CASTLE

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 5, 1 p.m. at the Paintsville
Funeral Home Chapel for Vonda Castle, 86, of Thealka, Ky., who passed away
Sunday, June 1 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
Mrs. Castle was born Oct. 14, 1921 in Paintsville, Ky., daughter of the late
Henry and Millie Castle Bowens.
Surviving are one son, Arlie Castle Jr. of Thealka; one daughter Ella Louise
“Nina” Morrison of Ypsilanti, Mich; one sister, Florence Wilcox of Thealka;
and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The services will be officiated by the Rev. Hubert Slone, with burial
following in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville, Ky.
