Charles E. Cochran, 74, died Tuesday, January 22, in Paintsville
Hospital.
 
Born April 23, 1905 in Johnson County, he was the son of Jefferson
Davis and Louise Meade Cochran.
 
Mr. Cochran was a resident of Wittensville, and a retired employee of
Kentucky State Department of Highways.
 
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Cantrell Cochran; three sons, Wallace
Cordell and Ray Delano Cochran, of Wittensville, and Thomas Jefferson
Cochran of Denver; two brothers, Thurman Cochran of Oil Springs and
Wince Cochran of Wittensville, and three sisters, Rhoda Cochran and
Martha Bayes, of Flat Gap and Mary M. Williams of Dayton
;
 and two grandchildren Jeff and Thom.

 
Funeral services were held Friday, January 25 in Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel with Elders Lonza Reed, B. C. Ferguson, James D.
Spradlin, James H. Blair and Eual McKenzie officiating.
 
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville with
Paintsville Funeral Home handling arrangements.
