HAZEL ALTA COCHRAN

Hazel Alta Cantrell Cochran, 84, of Wittensville, died Wednesday,
Nov. 24, 2004at her residence.
Born Aug. 2, 1920, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Tom and Julie Love Cantrell. She was a retired cafeteria cook
with Oil Springs High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Cochran; and
a son, Wallace Cordell Cochran, in 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Jefferson "T.J." Cochran of
Denver, and Ray Delano Cochran of Wittensville; two grandsons; and
four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 27, at Fish Trap United
Baptist Church, Staffordsville, with Elders Frankie Williams,
Danny Williams, Sammie Reed, and Melvin Wright officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville,
under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
