MARVIN KENNETH CONLEY
1928-1980
Marvin Kenneth Conley, 51, died Saturday, July 19 in St. Joseph's
Hospital, Lexington, after an extended illness.
Born November 10, 1928, in Johnson County, he was a resident of
Wittensville, a foreman for Temco Coal Corp., and a member of the
United Baptist church.
Surviving are his parents, Hobert and Carrie Blanton Conley, Nippa;
his wife, Martha Lemaster Conley, a son, Danny Keith Conley,
Wittensville, two daughters, Rosetta Lynn Preston, Nippa, and Anita
Sue Conley, Wittensville; three sisters, Phyllis Pickle, Winchester,
Rebecca Sue Salyer, Jamestown, and Rouie VanHoose, Nippa; and one
granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 23, in Fishtrap United
Baptist Church, Staffordsville, with Elders Lonza Reed, J. T. Bailey,
and Eual McKenzie officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, with
Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
