THOMAS MILLARD CONLEY
1895-1977
Thomas Millard Conley, 81, died Monday, July 4, 1977 in
Highlands Regional Medical Center at Prestonsburg, after
a brief illness.
Mr. Conley was born December 12, 1895, in Johnson County,
the son of James and Lydia Ferguson Conley.
He was a resident of Flat Gap and a member of the United
Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Delphia Lyons Conley; a son,
Garrett Conley of Staffordsville; three daughters, Mrs.
Ada Ross of Flat Gap, Mrs. Loretta Evans of Fairborn,
Ohio and Mrs. Estar Smith of Xenia, Ohio; a brother, Ferd
Conley of Louisa; five grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 6, in the
Bethel United Baptist Church at Flat Gap with Elder Tommy
Bailey and Rev. Homer Evans officiating.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Flat Gap with
Paintsville Funeral Home handling arrangements.
