Rites Sunday At Thealka For Mrs.Callie Dale
Mrs.Callie Dale,77, Thealke resident died Friday morning December 30,
in a local hospital following an illness of one month.
A lifelong resident of Thealka she was born September 18, 1883, the
daughter of the late Lafe and Mary Daniels Castle.
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Her husband James Dale preceded her in death February 28, 1955.
Surviving are two sons Bill Ray Dale of this city.Richard Dale,
Orlando,Florida seven daughters,Mrs.Clara Jarrell,Speedway,W.Va.,
Mrs.Lizzie Daniels,Silver Creek,N.Y,Mrs.Mae Cundiff,Orlando,Fla.,Mrs.
Emogene Tate,Charleston,Ind.;Mrs.Maxine Spencer,Miss Mollie Dale and
Miss Irene Dale,all of Thealka; one brother, Scott Castle of this
city, two sisters Mrs.Marie Penley and Mrs.Vina Woods,both of this
city.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 1, from
the Thealka Freewill Baptist Church with Don Fraley and James Lyons
as officiating ministers.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Thealka.
